Paris, France. The next best thing to being there is Cafe Gaston. It's not just any ordinary restaurant, but a fabulous French eatery.
There isn't a menu item I have not tried or dislike. They are all wonderful. And in the French tradition, they are served with a certain, je ne saisquoi that you don't find elsewhere.
Breakfast omelettes, excellent lunch sandwiches, and some great dinners, too. All in a quaint, convenient restaurant.
A little simple. Plain with a French air. Italian sausage doesn't taste quite as good until it is made by the French!
