Barbara Biliskov
Barbara A. Biliskov (nee Guzan) died last Friday at MacNeal Hospital.
Mrs. Biliskov, a homemaker, is survived by her husband, Anthony; mother, Mary Guzan; daughter, Connie Tyson; sons, Ken and Bob; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Camille Sturecke, Joan Teddeso and Claudette Artwick; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday from Richard-Midway Funeral Home to St. Daniel the Prophet Church. Cremation was private.
Jack Davis
Jack E. Davis, 74, died Jan. 28 at his Oak Lawn home.
Mr. Davis was an electrician who was a member of IBEW Local 134 from 1958-’97. An Air Force veteran, he was also a member of Johnson-Phelps Post 5220.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie (nee Molenda); daughters, Alison Davis and Jackie Colluzi; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Jan. 30 at the Lawn Funeral Home. Interment was private.
Marcella Gallagher
Marcella C. Gallagher (nee Cook), a resident of Oak Lawn, died Jan. 26 at Palos Community Hospital.
Mrs. Gallagher, a homemaker, is survived by her sons, Michael and Patrick; and six grandchildren.
Services were Jan. 30 from Brady-Gill Funeral Home to St. Thomas More Church. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Genevieve Hanley
Genevieve M. Hanley (nee Kotula), 86, a resident of Oak Lawn, died Jan. 24 at Christ Hospital.
Mrs. Hanley worked as a secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughters, Linda Berner and Susan Nicholson; son, Scott; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Czarnecki and Florence Judycki; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were last Friday from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home to St. Germaine Church. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Ireneusz Grzymkowski
Ireneusz Grzymkowski, 54, a former resident of Chicago’s Archer Heights neighborhood, died Jan. 31 at Silver Cross Hospital.
Mr. Grzymkowski was owner of Eric Construction Company.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (nee Dobrzynska); daughter, Beata Grzymkowska; sisters, Irena Sulewski and Teresa Grubowski; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday from Zarzycki Manor Chapels to Our Lady, Mother of the Church. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Martha Holper
Martha M. Holper, 73, a former resident of Chicago’s West Lawn area, died Jan. 27 at the Smith Village Nursing Home.
Ms. Holper was an executive secretary for a phone company.
Among survivors are her mother, Martha F.; sister, Stephanie; and brother, John.
Services were Tuesday from Wolniak Funeral Home to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery.
John Livigni
John C. Livigni, 88, died last Friday at his home in Chicago’s Clearing neighborhood.
Mr. Livigni, an Army veteran, was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his daughters, Margaret “Peggy” and Alice Phister; sons, John and Martin; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Monday from Ridge Funeral Home to St. Symphorosa Church. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Edith Mikrut
Edith Mikrut (nee Tenuto), 84, a resident of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood, died Jan. 30 at Manor Care Nursing Home.
Mrs. Mikrut, a homemaker, is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Staszko; two grandchildren; sister, Josephine Paulo; brother, Frank Tenuto; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Wednesday from Foran Funeral Home to St. Daniel the Prophet Cemetery. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Irene Paprzyca
Irene M. Paprzyca (nee Ostrowski), 86, a resident of Chicago’s Gage Park neighborhood, died last Friday at the International Nursing Home.
Mrs. Paprzyca, a homemaker, is survived by her sons, Marc (ret., CPD) and Bruce; daughter, Susan Koval; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, William Ostrowski; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Monday at Foran Funeral Home. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Loretta Pawlak
Loretta P. Pawlak (nee Lopinski), 86, an Oak Lawn resident, died Jan. 31 at the Lexington Nursing Home.
Among survivors for Mrs. Pawlak, a homemaker, are her children, David, Richard, Carleen Wargowski, Laurel, Scott and Jacqueline; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were yesterday (Thursday) from Lawn Funeral Home to St. Albert the Great Church. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Lorraine Smith
Lorraine A. Smith (nee Gibson), 86, died last Friday at her home in Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood.
Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, is survived by her daughters, Janet Luzadder, Mary Beth Caudillo and Patty Gargano; son, James; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Elaine Steele
Elaine E. Steele (nee White), 82, a resident of Chicago’s Garfield Ridge neighborhood, died Jan. 31 in Cicero.
Among survivors for Mrs. Steele, a homemaker, are her son, Robert; daughter, Cynthia; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Gerald White.
Services were yesterday (Thursday) from Richard-Midway Funeral Home to St. Jane de Chantal Church. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
William Tipping
William A. Tipping, 81, a former resident of Chicago’s Chicago Lawn neighborhood, died Jan. 23 in Rockford.
Mr. Tipping worked for the Chicago Public Schools. A National Guard veteran, he was a member of Daniel Dowling Knights of Columbus Council 1063.
He is survived by his son, William J.; daughters, Cindie Chalik and Linda Parker; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Jan. 28 from Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium to St. Joseph Church. Entombment was at Resurrection Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.
Dolores Toomey
Dolores M. Toomey, 89, a Bridgeview resident, died Jan. 26 in Lombard.
Mrs. Toomey was a retired bookkeeper from R.H. Donnelley. She was a member of the Bridgeview Golden Agers.
She is survived by her sons, William Jr. and Dennis; daughters, Patricia Donohoe and Eileen Aurience; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Jan. 30 from Hann Funeral Home to St. Fabian Church. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery.

In an obituary last week on Gerald Petraitis, an incorrect age was listed.The correct age for Mr. Petraitis was 60 years of age.
