How About U.S. Using Their Oil?
Editor: What ever happened to our “oil reserves” that the government used to talk about? If I recall correctly, it seems to me that we were told that we would function on our own oil for several years “in an emergency” with no dependence on any other country.
I guess you might call it “saving it for a rainy day.”
Why don’t they realize that the rainy day is here — and it’s pouring?
If we stop buying foreign oil for awhile, and the economics of several countries suffer, so be it!
It’s time to worry about our economy first.
