
Women's Club Meetings
The women of Trinity Lutheran Church, 9701 S. Brandt Ave., Oak Lawn, are hosting a Mother-Daughter Banquet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.
The theme will be a “Hawaiian Luau.” Tickets are available at the church office by calling (708) 422-0193.
The registration fee is $12 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and younger are admitted free.
The menu will consist of ham with pineapple, rice, glazed carrots, salad, Hawaiian salad and macaroons.
A Mother-Daughter Luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at the Oak Lawn Community Church, 9000 S. Ridgeland Ave.
A variety of salads and desserts will be available to choose from, along with fruit punch, coffee and tea. Refreshments will be provided.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2.50 for children ages 4 to 12. Kids under age 3 are admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

A Mother’s Day Party will be held Friday, May 9 at the Louis S. Viverito Center, 7745 S. Leamington Ave., Burbank.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. Bingo, lunch and a treat will be given to all the mothers. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.

The Christian Women’s Fellowship of Hometown Christian Church will hold their spring Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 2 at the church, 4340 W. 87th St.
The rummage sale will also be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 3. Items for sale include clothing of all kinds, shoes, purses, books, toys, kitchen equipment and other household accessories.

Karen Hempel is the guest speaker and she will discuss how she went “From No Boundaries to a Life in Control.” Music will be provided by Delores Henry. Spring fashions will be featured.
