Choices For College Made By Brother Rice Players
Seven Brother Rice baseball players recently decided on what colleges they will attend in the fall.
Among those making their college decision were Ryan Wischhover and Cameron Anello, both of whom will attend Lewis University.
Wischhover is a pitcher and outfielder, and Anello is a third baseman.
Another Crusader pitcher, Sean O’Reilly, has given his verbal commitment to play both baseball and basketball at St. Ambrose University.
Other Brother Rice seniors making verbal commitments were pitcher John Zawaski (Loras College) and first baseman Tom Hickey (John Carroll University).
Outfielder Doug Schumacher will be a walk-on at the University of Illinois and second baseman Mike McQuillan has signed with the University of Iowa.
Brother Rice is in Chicago at 10001 S. Pulaski Road.
