The race tightened in the Preps Session 2 afternoon bowling league when the top-two squads, Team 3 and the Big Dogs, lost 2 of 3 games to their respective foes, Team 8 and 3 Boys and a Girl earlier this month.
Also helping to tighten the race was the We Some Beast Jr team, which swept all three games from the Strike Zone.
With these outcomes, Team 3 and the Big Dogs have each won 23 points for the season; while We Some Beast Jr. and Team 8 have each won 22 points, and 3 Boys and a Girl have won 21 points.
Top roller for Team 8 in its win over Team 3 was Amanda Baran with a 127/311. Top roller for Team 3 was Shannon McGuire with a 144/386.
Leading We Some Beast Jr to its sweep of the Strike Zone were Emina Pitts with a 135/354 and Marqueshawn Sanders with a 130/306.
