A. Bocconcelli
Anthony Joseph Bocconcelli, 76, a 44-year resident of Bridgeview, died April 11 at his home.
Mr. Bocconcelli, an Army veteran, worked for 25 years at Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co., and nine more at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. before retiring in 1991. He was a longtime member of St. Fabian Church and was active in the choir.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; daughters, Deborah Neill and Laura Kelly; son, Anthony Bocconcelli; stepchildren, Theresa Sievers and James Novak; seven grandchildren; and sister, Betty Rose Cornish.
Services were April 14 from Hann Funeral Home to St. Fabian Church. Interment was at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Harry Bragiel
Harry J. Bragiel, 83, a resident of Oak Lawn, died April 12 at Little Company of Mary Hospital.
Mr. Bragiel was co-owner of Greenwood Enterprises. A World War II Army veteran, he was a longtime member of the Beverly Country Club.
Among survivors are his brother, Raymond; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were last Wednesday from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home to St. Linus Church. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery.
Frances Joyce
Frances R. Joyce, (nee Baio), 79, died April 16, at her Oak Lawn home.
Mrs. Joyce was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah; son, Kevin; sisters, Anna Evoy, Vera Bartley and Rita Letourea; brother, Paul; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday from Andrew J. McGann and Son Funeral Home to St. Germaine Church. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery.
Dorothy Mitchell
Dorothy C. Mitchell (nee Fischer), 85, an Oak Lawn resident, died April 14 at Little Company of Mary Hospital.
Mrs. Mitchell, a homemaker, was a longtime member of the St. Gerald Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by her sons, Richard and Raymond; daughters, Diane Nicholson and Rita Tomasso; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were April 17 from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home to St. Gerald Church. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery.
Mildred Yankowski
Mildred B. Yankowski (nee Lewandowski), 83, a Burbank resident, died April 11 at her home.
Mrs. Yankowski was a retired employee of a Lever Brothers factory.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Yankowski; and sisters, Phyllis Prysmiki and Pat Wasielewski.
Services were April 15 from Lawn Funeral Home to St. Albert the Great Church. Interment was at Chapel Hill Garden West Cemetery.
