Hi, Neighbors!
Will spring ever arrive, or will this be one of those spring-free years, where it seems the weather turns from snow and cold to hot and sunny within a matter of days?
Happy Birthday to Burbank resident Andy Lopez, from his wife, Pat. I hope you both have a great day.
It’s now officially April, even if it still feels like February at times. Did you know that April is National Donate Life Month? Organ donation is the gift of life, and in April, we celebrate the magnificent gift of all the selfless people who have given this tremendous gift to others. If you are not already registered as an organ donor, please consider registering this month.
Residents may sign up online at https://www.ilsos.gov/organdonorregister/, or call or e-mail me and I would be more than happy to help you register.
April is also tax month. Don’t forget to file your income tax returns by April 15. If you need any state or federal tax forms, the Prairie Trails Public Library, 8449 S. Moody Ave., has what you’re looking for. Be sure to stop by and check out all our library has to offer for children, teens, and adults.
