Rochelle Hatton, 70, O.L. Official, Dies
Rochelle J. Hatton (nee Mausure), 70, died March 5 at Palos Community Hospital.
Mrs. Hatton was the former director of the Oak Lawn Senior Center, which she ran for 29 years.
Survivors include her son, Bryan Hatton; mother, Donalda Mausure (nee Hyra); and sister, Jeanne Mausure.
Services were March 10 from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church. Interment was private.
Theresa Alleruzzo
Theresa “Terry” Alleruzzo (nee Guercio), 86, a resident of Oak Lawn, died March 12 at St. Francis Hospital.
Mrs. Alleruzzo, a homemaker, is survived by her daughter, Mary Danek; son, James B.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Saturday from Becvar & Son Funeral Home to St. Germaine Church. Entombment was at Resurrection Mausoleum.
Ervin Frydrychowski
Ervin E. Frydrychowski, 66, a longtime Bridgeview resident, died March 10 at Christ Hospital.
Mr. Frydrychowski was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Joanie (nee Sarbiewski); daughters, Cynthia Fuentes and Donna Lindgren; son, Kenneth Frydrychowski; three grandchildren; mother, Victoria Frydrychowski; brother, Ron Frydrychowski; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Saturday from Hann Funeral Home to St. Fabian Church. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Robert Garrett
Robert R. Garrett, 71, a Burbank resident, died March 6 at a Bridgeview nursing home.
Mr. Garrett, a Navy veteran of the Korean War, was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Garrett (nee Ferro); sons, Robert K. and William Garrett; three grandchildren; and brothers, William and Brian Garrett.
Services were March 11 from Lawn Funeral Home to St. Louis de Montfort Church. Interment was at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
Andrew Mattillion
Andrew Mattillion Jr., 82, a Burbank resident, died March 7 at Christ Hospital.
Mr. Mattillion, a World War II Navy veteran, was a retired machinist.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mattillion (nee Capek); son, Gary Mattillion; daughter, Nancy Dillon; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Widerstrom and Josephine Wiles; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday at Lawn Funeral Home. Interment was at Fairmont Willow Hills Cemetery.
Sophie Murawski
Sophie T. Murawski, 89, died March 8 at her Burbank home.
Mrs. Murawski was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis, Ronald and Richard Murawski; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were March 11 from Szykowny Funeral Home to St. Richard Church in Chicago. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery.
Rita Sichelski
Rita M. Sichelski (nee Wilk), 78, died March 6 at her Oak Lawn home.
Mrs. Sichelski was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph, Russell and James Sichelski; daughters, Laura Rizzo and Sharon Meller; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were March 10 from Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home to St. Gerald Church. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery.
