Women's Club Meetings
The St. Rita Mothers Club will be hosting a Vendor Night on Thursday, March 13 in the school’s dining hall, 7740 S. Western Ave..
The event will be held in the St. Rita High School Dining Hall from 7 to 10 p.m. More information can be obtained by calling (773) 925-6600.
The General Federation of Women’s Club will host the 11th Annual Blue Ribbon Luncheon and Fashion Show Saturday, April 12 at the Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon is served at 12:30 p.m. The fashion show begins at 1:30 p.m. The registration fee is $35.
The deadline to register is April 1. Checks can be made payable to: GFWC Illinois, Blue Ribbon Fashion Show, 81 N. Chicago St., Suite 406, Joliet, IL 60432
All proceeds will benefit Prevent Child Abuse Illinois.
The Spring/Summer Children’s Resale will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 8 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 12725 Bell Road, Lemont.
A variety of clothes for children of all ages will be available including newborn to size 16. Toys and games, books, baby equipment, furniture, bedding, decorations and sports equipment can be purchased.
Due to space limitations, strollers or children are not allowed. More information can be obtained at www.chicagofirstnaz.org.
The Mount Greenwood Lutheran Women’s Club will be sponsoring a trip to the flower and garden show on March 13.
The $21 fee includes a bus ticket and some treats. The bus will leave the church, 10911 S. Trumbull Ave., Chicago, at 9 a.m. Departure from the flower show will be at 4 p.m.
Wheelchairs can also be reserved. Doughnuts and coffee will be served at 8:15 a.m.
